Dating back more than 5,000 years, Ayurveda is a holistic tradition and way of living that can help each of us to claim and celebrate our capacity for wellness. The name “Ayurveda” is derived from two words in Sanskrit, “ayuh” meaning “life” or “longevity” and “veda” meaning “science” or “sacred knowledge.” Ayurveda’s definition therefore roughly translates as “the science of longevity” or “the sacred knowledge of life.”
Ayurveda is not simply about taking an herbal formula and waiting for the results. Instead, Ayurveda encourages you to be an active participant in your own journey toward healing. With the help and guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner Ayurveda provides the self knowledge necessary to live in accordance with one’s constitutional body wisdom and to uncover the roots of disease thereby restoring balance on all levels of body, mind, and spirit.
Ayurveda distinguishes every individual as unique in mind, body, and spirit, therefore each Ayurvedic remedy is catered to the individual. Ayurvedic treatment was created to take advantage of the body's natural healing capabilities. As a result, these holistic methods all aim at truly restoring health and not just alleviating symptoms.

"Ayurveda is the science of life that teaches us how to live in harmony with nature and the world around us." - Dr Robert Svoboda.
I am so unbelievably grateful for Rachel and all of the health issues she's been helping with. I love feeling really heard, and valued. The way Rachel takes my entire existence into consideration and not just my symptoms. She is amazing and I highly highly recommend her services! S.H.
Rachel has helped me find so many ways to take better care of myself 💙 K.
I had a MRSA staph infection from a surgery I received to repair my broken leg. I sought out Rachel's Ayurvedic counseling after months of being on antibiotics and my infection was not improving. Rachel took the time to look at my blood results and provided me with herbs and technics that were compatible with the western medicines I was taking. Her analysis was spot on and she understands the healing process is more than just consuming prescribed medicines. After sticking to the regiment she put together for me for two months my situation improved significantly. I've now been off antibiotics for three months with no signs of an infection relapse. Before seeking Rachel's assistance, my doctor and I had begun talks of the possibility of amputation. Now, I feel better than before I broke my leg and I seem to be in the clear. If you're looking to feel healthier or looking for an alternative to western medicine you should strongly consider Red Lotus Ayurveda. Thank you Rachel❤ Justin.C
